Secondary schools and university do have their own similarities and differences. First of all, the most apparently one will be, both are also a place where we can gain bunches of knowledge. Teacher in secondary school will prepare students to further their studies in tertiary institution. Whereas, in some universities or colleges, those lecturers will prepare their students for their future career. What students learn in a tertiary level institution is not just about memorizing thing, is about what students want for their future life.
Second, in secondary school and university, we will definitely make a lot of new friends regardless to their races, religion and more. It helps to develop our socialize skills. In secondary school, we will often gather together to do our work, group study and more. In contrary, when we are studying in an university, we will gather together not just to do our work, we will go like shopping, cinema and so on with our friends to get to know each other more well.
However, there are still some differences between secondary school and university. In secondary school, students compulsory have to wear uniform to school. In university, students can dress whatever they like, for examples like, shorts, topless sleeve, mini jeans and all. There is no dress code in university, but some public university will have.
In addition, timetable in university are more flexible than secondary school. University students will have 2 hours free time after a 2 hour class. For secondary school students, their timetable is fixed from morning until afternoon.
